So-Call Friends

Real friends are extremely rare; and the so-call friends sometimes, are hard to please
When life seems so unfair, the so-called friends avoid you like a disease!

When you face financial hardship and can’t pay your rent,
Is your “friend” there for you without an argument?

When you feel all alone; when marital problems arise,
Is your “friend” there, being supportive; do they look you in the eyes?

When you reach your lowest point and need a shoulder to lean on
Does your “friend: disappoint; did you feel it all along?

When trials and tribulations trouble you to no end,
You’ll know a sincere person without a doubt, will be a friend!

So-call friends in your inner circle may be many; you have no clue..
It is only when your troubles come, then you’ll know if your friends are true!
