Soar

Take a deep breath
Clear your mind
Try not to picture
The world you left behind

Soar through the sky
High above the clouds
Don’t think about
Where you are now

Drowned your self in pills
Make sure no one knows
About the pain you feel
Or how it grows and grows

Don’t listen to the screaming
Don’t look at the decay
Don’t bother trying to fix it
When the same happens the next day

Drink down some rum
Finish the whole glass
Drown the sorrow
Forget about the past

You’ll never be good enough
So why bother to try?
No matter what you do
Just sit there and wait to die

Life's not fair you know
But there's nothing you can do
Except make your self stronger
And do your best to make it through

So until that day comes
When you are finally free
Pretend you’re in your dream world
Soaring as high as the eye can see
