Soap Box Kings

By now we can see that these bullies won’t change.
They keep blasting their logic and acting deranged.
I’m sick of the slander and sick of the lies.
They continue to mock and continue to chastise.
The soap box kings up high on their thrones.
Why not mind your own business and leave us alone?
I will never give up and I will never back down.
I am here for my friends and all of you clowns.
Keep painting your face and hide if you must.
Your high society will soon turn to dust.
Do you really think that you have so much power?
Weak walls always crumble even ivory towers.

What irritates me is that he got into with Eileen, too, and I have a newfound respect for her for holding her ground against him. Her poem (a dedication to George Floyd) speaks volumes and he put her through the mill with his attacks, which wasn't called for. After all who deserves to be prosecuted on the merits of writing a poem. If you read something you don’t agree with simply move on. I was taught that if you don’t have something nice to say then don’t say anything at all. It’s really that simple. Thank you for taking a stand with us. I’m hoping more people will.
