Each day brings with it threats of civil unrest,
When desires aren’t met we’re taught to whine.
The news is dominated by those who protest,
To get our wants we hit the streets with a sign.
Using others or things to obtain the right spin,
Are educated people soliciting attention by voice;
Those willing to disrupt while feeling no chagrin,
Ignoring the presage because of their choice;
I’m tired of those making pawns of our youth,
Just to further some dedicated cause of their own.
While taking on the appearance of being uncouth,
They leave youth to suffer from seed they’ve sown.
