Soap and Water
Mommy says I gotta sit in the bathtub
And wash my face with a lotta soap and water.
But the dirt don’t come off no matter how hard I rub.
So, I just make bubbles while I wait for my father.
He’ll know whadda do, ‘cause he’s a really smart guy.
When I grow up, I wanna be just like him.
But when he gets dirty like me, I wanna know why
After his bath, he looks the same as he did goin’ in.
I bet it’s ‘cause he don’t use enough soap and water.
That’s what happens when you’re always in a hurry.
Mommy should send Daddy to bed with no supper.
That’s what happens to me when I come downstairs dirty.
