Sorry
for the anger.
The blood up in my head,
boiled out
in furry,
a froth so hard to tread!
Sorry
for the F bombs
dropped in mad array.
Ire not held in check
so rage,
it won the day.
Sorry
for the timber
brash to little ears.
Tones of bloody violence
wracked upon with tears
Sorry
for the words,
ill thought and out of place
words of bitter iron
taste cannot erase
Sorry
for so many things
in moments that were ripe
to heal a little wound,
instead resort to strife
I cannot carry back
in time.
The moments,
they are lost.
I look only to the future.
Sorry
is the cost.
