So Small
Standing beside the great ocean-blue,
feeling the cool breeze and hearing the waves too.
Standing at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro,
wondering, How did it grow?
Gazing at the heavenly stars and moon at night,
mesmerized and enchanted by a dream of taking a celestial flight.
Feeling the radiant sun on my melanin-rich skin,
Just thinking, if I could do it over, I would do it the same all over again.
Looking at the beauty and strength of towering redwoods, I am simply amazed by their height.
Oh, just to sit and ponder it all, I look at myself and see that I am so small.
