So Much For Pride

So proud, so independent, is the cat
Nose held high in the air, be she thin or fat
   Yet just rub her tummy
~ That's the end of all that

Hello Gershon Wolf, this poem is cute. The cat does not like to have the belly rubbed! I must remember that when I get a cat. have a nice day my friend.

Maybe I wasn't quite clear: The cat does, indeed, very much like to have his/her belly rubbed. Smiles, Gershon
