So Many Times...

So many times… I’ve turned around…
                                       To seek yesterday…
The forgotten moments… The sad goodbyes… The unrealized dreams…
                 The lies that hindered Love…
The pain that restrained us…
The way we discarded it all… Tormented by… What could
have been’s… Crying for another chance…
To even go and capture even a moment…
                   Always lost in sentimental thought…
The smiles brought to my face…
Of the memories that evoke such passion…
But to often I am brought back…
              To that anguished place…
Where I lose myself in pity…
For what I gave up… So easily…
For the things I walked away from…
For the catastrophic affect… It leaves…
               Only left to dream again…
And find another way to Love…
                             Even with what I’ve lost…
I must just try again tomorrow
