So Many Blessings In One Life

There are so many blessings to claim: A sister who gives unconditional love who's always there when I need her who praises everything I do including the meat loaf I feed her A nephew who thinks that I'm "the bomb" and always tells me so and we are kindred spirits that's something I truly know Friends so many places that will be my friends for life, there in times of happiness and times of woe and strife Two cats that just adore me and make me laugh all day I can cuddle and talk to which keeps the blues at bay A brain and some intelligence that helps me figure things out when life is rather confusing and I want to scream and shout A voice that sang in my younger days up with my boyfriends band and now it sings out strong in church while Jesus holds my hand A spirit of humor that keeps me going when life has got me down and very few face wrinkles cos' I hardly ever frown A knack for putting words together that some people enjoy and a talent for making things by hand like jewelry and candles of soy A place to live and very few wants although I'm far from wealthy and even though I'm diabetic basically I'm healthy **for "Count Your Blessings" contest sponsored by Dane Ann Smith-Johnsen
