So Long
In a blink of an eye
Another day passed me by
And as I open my window
A tear fell as I remember you
I know you have to go
And it's all for good reason
But still the pain remains
season after season
Said I wish you well and pray you look upon us
And though it hurts so bad, we just have to fully trust
That you are meant where you need to go
But damn! It's cold and lonely without you
So I will try to move on and will keep on praying
For clarity acceptance and healing
So long, until we meet again
I am at peace knowing you're happy in heaven
