So Little Time

So little time in life to waste on hate,
So little time in life to forget with haste.

Love and care were all there,
But thrown away when life despaired.

So little thought of the ones who cared,
About the life that was unfair.

Forget-me-nots grow for a reason,
But for you there is no season.

Pride is sometimes blinding,
For those that hold onto bindings.
