So It Lingers

So lingering, her sweet perfume, it casts a spell on me
It drives me to the brink of dreams and sets my spirit free

As I can smell the scent of her, I imagine then her face
Her smile so wide, eyes that stare, a dream dare not erased

I smile at the thought of her, as upon me, happiness descends
For even through the distance we share, our love always transcends
