So I Plummet

in your heart’s
vacant sky
I’ll fly for you

carelessly
lifting into
a new warmth

within this
brilliance
something gives

so I plummet
with parched
wings flailing

into a frosty sea
that I can’t tread
much longer

sunk to the bed
I join all those
who fell before me

I will stay here
longing to be
resurrected

Ouch! Greg, you sound so innocent. This is treasure! I hope you never lose what you have. It's great to be young. Save this and read it over and over as the years go by. You are a true free spirit.
