So Cometh November
So cometh November, when bonfires burn
And fireworks streak through the sky,
To remember a gang, with a murderous plan
In which a king and his government die.
So we stand round a fire, and gleefully admire
As we burn a Guy Fawkes effigy,
If it had worked, If the gunpowder blew,
What then, would say history.
