Snowy Town Celebration
Everybody come to my snowy town,
see the gleaming,
magical decorations abound
on lawns and doors
in full darkness;
they'll gleam even more at sundown.
oh, yes, with lights a-twinkling,
the joy is profound,
a festive spirit fills
the air all around.
Troll down each street,
oh, be charmed;
at the Lindenwood Mall
with laughter disarmed.
Sit in Santa's lap...
what a festive delight;
whisper your little wish:
Christmas magic in sight!
Mom has kissed you and went off to Walmart,
she didn't mention that well-kept secret part;
you giggle and laugh,
it's a laugh in the air.
nothing makers her forget
the joy that we share.
Kids generate happiness,
laughter so sweet;
in this snowy town...
where joy and friends meet:
we need our giggles,
your delightful smiles
to revive the cheery mood
that spans miles, stolen away
by the Grinch, so mean,
so green, let's arrange a parade
with confetti so pristine!
Oh, come on
let's make the magic last
with carols and warmth,
let's have a blast
with music so loud
and popcorn in hand;
dance in the snow,
in this enchanted land!
Be Scrooge, be Rudolph,
be a Snowman, too;
be Goofy, be Elf, be Carlie Brown; it's true,
in our snowy town joy will lead the way!
So, everybody come to my snowy town,
whispers of whishes softly abound:
with Santa and cheer,
the magic won't fade,
it's a rocking Christmas,
let's throw a parade!
Snowflakes are falling, the music
will play; in our snowy town
we'll celebrate our way
with friends and the magic
we'll sound the cheer!
it's Christmas in our snowy town,
come gather near!
