Snowy Nights

A creaking chair Swaying back and forth An old lady sits Window pane only knows north Her body is molded Her legs just sway She sits in her chair Her thoughts are miles away Snowflakes glisten Reflecting off the glass She dreams of snow angels But those days have passed A fireplace puts a glow Upon her tired face Heats her cold heart For love has lost it's place Winter is her favorite season Here she sits alone Snowy nights surround her She rocks herself to stone
