Snowy Night

The roses are gone
They have decayed
Now I'm alone
I am Afraid.
The violets have left
Because they're too sad
From the loss
Which they have had.
They miss the roses
Now they cry tears
Each drowning slowly
In their sea of fears.

A rose and a violet
Who once had it all
Whose connection was strong
Whose love had grown tall.
Then came a day
Someone killed the rose
The violet was beaten
The violet had froze.
Why did you leave?
You have left me alone
Now I lie here
To cry on this stone.

Then had come night
The snow had fallen
It was anguish and fear
The violet was haulin'
This story's about me
Losing my rose
I love you dear
You're all I chose.
