Snowmen

Snowmen standing in the yard
Wearing our old hats and scarves.
Do you think it might get old
Just standing out there in the cold?

Snowmen standing in a line
When it’s cold then they are fine.
When it’s warm they shed the pounds
Pooling water all around.

Snowmen standing in a row.
Spring is near but they don’t know.
Soon the weather will be warm
And they will lose their pudgy form.

Snowmen melting in the yard.
We pick up our hats and scarves.
Don’t be sad, be of good cheer.
We’ll see them again next year.
