Snowflakes

Silently gliding
On white feathered wings
Tidings of winter
This snowflake now brings

Falling to carpets
Of green, yellow, red
Falling on leaves that the
Trees do now shed

Another to follow
And more fill the sky
Till thousands are soon to be
Seen flying by

To cover the earth
With a blanket of white
Bringing 'bout change what a
Beautiful sight
