Snowdrops Wait

snowdrops wait

snowdrops wait for spring
 dreams of long days approaching
     sunbeams kiss the soil

I was not familiar with this flower before reading this; I had to look it up. Pretty flower. Lovely haiku Sam.

Hi FJ! Thank you! Not many are familiar with Snowdrops. They are a pretty, and courageous, flower. They remind me of people who bloom even in their winters! Hope you are well. All the best!

Thank you so much Anne-Lise. Like you, I love snowdrops in pots by my front door. Such a courageous little flower and so much fun to honor them in haiku! Hugs to you.
