Snow, Seen For the First Time

If, for the moment, should you
Touching, forgo
The most appealing landscapes
Do make the snow.

But prone as we are to prove
Through a tingling
If painful, those rumours of
What's real or not
Soft, serene what eyes spot
Fingers, freeze in!
