Snow Is Lovelier Than Rain

Snow is lovelier than rain on any January dreary
day,
it stomps out darkness with a joyful glow;
discover
what's being unraveled with its miraculous touch;
behind the pines' grove whipped by gusts,
imagine ghosts grunting, not finding
souls
that the night before walked past light posts pausing
briefly;
such a magical scene is only seen on a Hallmark greeting card!
Never frighten when a branch snaps, laugh
frantically;
isn't silence letting you hear voices that seem distant and
happy?
Hold out your palms, let snow glitter as forthcoming dreams!
