Snow Diamonds

The snow sparkled in the sun, casting diamonds across land
A blanket shining with distance from where I stand
Nature's falling untouched, almost blinding
So much clarity in cold air, with confusion unwinding
What lies underneath, will not be known until spring
As nature melts, healing is spoken by birds that sing
         - The uncut diamonds simply fade away-
              - While in memory, will always stay -

Lovely, Gorgeous, Beautiful, Wonderful, Elegant and Eloquent. Gosh, I forgot how pristine your nature penning is, Heidi. Bravo, Gershon
