Were you trying to keep yourself awake? These don't look like peaceful thoughts. In answer to your last question, I'm not Thai, I'm an Australian who is lucky enough to have an awesome Thai wife. But we do plan to retire to Thailand one day.

This is a poem inspired by my comrades who always assigned me to stay in a room with friend/s who loudly snore when we’ve overnight outings, camps, etc :). They think, I can sleep well with a snoring roommate; but, they don’t know my secret…, lol. If my years of service qualified me to join a school trip to Japan yesterday, then I will be far more than willing & grateful with my usual assignment:)))
