Sneaky Cat

The shy, feral cat creeps in close to the ground, Stealthily, silently, is not a sound. We don't even notice her gold and brown. Sneakily, makes a nest above high ground. When husband sees, he makes a sound. Was eight years ago, and she's still around.

Cute! Sure can relate; 2 of my four were low ground, around our domicile and another abandoned at the SPCA - so not exactly feral. An adorable write - ode to the feral that stayed! Poetry hugs ... CayCay

They all stay, CayCay. I so wish I didn't have a 78 year old next door neighbor whose secret is that she is a cat hoarder, up to 3 cat rooms full of unspayed cats.

Once had a feral cat move into the house to have kittens. She never would be touched. We found homes for her kittens and had her spayed before allowing her to return to her wild life.

Kudos to you! Doing your bit to save hundreds of potential new kittens.
