Sneaky Cat

The shy, feral cat creeps in close to the ground,

Stealthily, silently, is not a sound.

We don't even notice her gold and brown.

Sneakily, makes a nest above high ground.

When husband sees, he makes a sound.

Was eight years ago, and she's still around.

I so wish I didn't have a 78 year old next door neighbor whose secret is that she is a cat hoarder, up to 3 cat rooms full of unspayed cats.
