Snap Out of It.

Life can be tough at times
Depression and discouragement
Can set in. The cares of this world 
And negative thoughts, can overwhelm
You with heaviness, you have a choice to
Think positive thoughts.

David in the Bible encounters difficulties too,
I’m afraid no exemption for me and you. 
When depression, and discouragement, takes
A hold. Say like David: Why are you cast 
Down oh my soul? 

Snap out of it; shake off that spirit that comes
To kill, steal, and destroy? Endeavour to put your 
Trust fully in the Lord. When you praise him he’ll
Give you the strength to overcome. Every trials you
May face, and every victory won.

Diane Christian Date: 5/19/2009 11:26:00 AM hiya thanks for your kind comments Abe, you will be glad to hear my son is doing fine at the moment, he has snapped out of his depression he is just 12 so it is hard for him, he has been in school the past 2 days and doing just great he is happy once more, thanks to the Lord our greatest councellor of all, James took that step of faith and did it he found the courage he went out of his comfort zone, Amen my friend my son is free again, when we trust the Lord we can move mountains, God bless you Login to Reply

Diane Christian Date: 5/15/2009 10:46:00 AM my son is just 12 he is having tough times at the moment But i know with out any doubt God will sort it out for him, I am keep pleeding the blood over my sons life standing in the gap because he is young it is harder for him so I am fighting on his behalf, he has ben having panic attacks going into hyper ventilation through anxiety but I said it happened to many great prophets too, even moses got depressed, elijah, Jonah, ect anyway a great poem I will keep this on in my fave list, God bless you Login to Reply
