Snake In Bed

Snake in bed

Gliding is old brownie ,
up upon my tortured bed,
felt him lurching on me doona,
he struck, I kicked, he fell instead.

whizzing round the bed he was,
tossing pillows at him then
have to go n watch tv
put him on the puter Fred

yes a going back to bed ,
get a bit more sleeping time,
get this snake out of me head,
he’ll be gone by dinner time

Dear Sara The rhyming angels had him rushing round inside my head, so at the chilly 4am i let it flow on the computer and said..another verse came while i was there, better out than rattling in my head's hair. Dr Ram was probably right:) good on ya... Don

This is interesting work that leaves me wondering is this a real snake or is it a metaphor for something else..Thanks for the kind review of my work..I am sorry that it is excess rain in your area..I hope that you don't live in a flood plain..Your presence at my work was uplifting..Sara

That is one scary experience. Glad it will be your dinner, not you be its dinner. You must be living in wild country? Caroline.
