Smile's Away
A smile that travelled the world in one day.
What a wonderful feeling it brought my way.
It was the briefest of a pass.
Although the feeling seemed to last.
I smiled again, first one, then two.
They all smiled back at me, right on que.
The smile knew what it had done.
Passing it on to everyone.
Tall, short, wide, and thin.
With all different shades of the exact same thing.
That game it played all day long.
Passing smiles from dawn till dawn.
When finaly it all had settled.
Off to bed with a nice hot kettle.
Low and behold, all it could say.
I travelled the whole world, in just one day.
