Smile Up That Sunshine

POEM " SMILE UP THAT SUNSHINE " by martin gedge

Smile up that sunshine and let your flowers grow
bask under the bluest skies and sparkle in it's glow
wind to whistle through the trees to dance without a care
for everything is beautiful when spring is in the air
the bumble bees are busy with sweet honey on their minds
and butterflies are blooming in a paradise of vines
the grass is waking wild as the blades begin to prop
buttercups and dandelions are stretching to pop up
the pitter patter pouring of may showers from on high
with smells to swell your energy in the apples of the eye
a scented nature candle fuming the fire wooded burn
the ice to break the water shores while fish to toss and turn
the colors parade the scenery in a palace to behold
of photographs and memories to shake the winters cold
the breath as fresh as morning dew that makes a golden day
while cubs to scurry in the parks to spark a passion play
there is nothing more exciting then the change that seasons do
they get the best inside your heart like buying something new
to certainly bright the biggest eyes with signs of sounding feet
my hibernation"s over and I think it's time to eat...
