Smile
The tangled web of reason
Listens to your lies
As what passed for indecision
Becomes your open eye
Decaying in the mirror
The walls turn in to wine
Keep smiling and you’ll make it
Just smile and it’s fine
Destroy another angel
Steal a seed of love
Then squander it on betrayal
Because you just can’t get enough
Forget that it can see you
Forget what you once were
The child you killed has faded on
But you see it everywhere
In the faces that you hide from
In the places where you fell
Just hold your smile and rusted knife
And pretend you’re not in hell
