Smile
Alone you walk?
Is that what you claim?
Maybe it's you who's left it this way?
I've seen pen to paper write
the deepest of thoughts
and the darkest of secrets
It's been too long since our hearts did beat
a bliss filled sense of numbness
yet we find it only in ignorance
I'll walk alone, yes all alone
but only to see you walk
hand in hand in another's embrace
So allow me to take your lonely path
and I'll smile as I give you away
