Slugs Under a Log
At one time along
this path there set
a log stump, used it for
resting spot many times.
Today it was gone,
rolled down a hill I see,
went to fetch stump,
someone else has use for it,
family of slugs,
have taken over my
chair, they need it
worse than I do,
for slugs under a log.
