Slowly Now

Slowly now… for the world to remember
To simply find… to one day be found
Dreaming is after all waking an ever
With so much more to forget… slowly now

Heard can sometimes be fading
Drifting… perhaps dying away
Living is after all death’s serving
To simply be living just one more day

Losing everything in order to feel once more
Everything to have lived for to give it up
Life earned to nevermore really adore
As certain as certainty is forever doubt

I need to feel… like something…
Perhaps nothing is all I need… to feel
Mindless and ignorant… carefully wanting
Can everything old be a discovering new?

I did not find… I wasn’t found
Slowly now… the world as always will forget
To simply own a life within death’s compound
Who honestly cares if you live a life without regrets?
