Slow Down To Speed Up
If we would enliven silence,
let’s rest first, thought borne violence,
placid and tranquil, like a lake,
that sensing soul, we may awake.
Body ages and life force ebbs,
yet ego incessantly begs.
Now’s our time, either make or break,
that sensing soul, we may awake.
Invoking divine magnetism,
bliss ignites our mind-body prism;
nodes within form begin to shake,
that sensing soul, we may awake.
In timeless time, bliss becomes peace
and as presence turns a new leaf,
love opts to give, rather than take,
that sensing soul, we may awake.
