Slow Down
The wind is loudly howling
Snow is falling on the ground,
No cars on the road traveling
Its as if we're a ghost town.
Many rush to stock up
May become snowed in tomorrow,
But many are like the weather
Closed in simply from sorrow.
How fast we overlook
People who badly feel,
For they seem well to us
But their pain inside is real.
So busy with ourselves today
Can't stop a minute to see,
There are people worse off
Who want to live happily.
Daily activities change quick
Our weather does to,
We learn to deal with this
Sometimes with life its hard to do.
So, while the weather is rough
Wanting it all to go away,
Think of someone in need
Call them and make their day.
