Slipping Away
There's an eerie feeling in this place,
and it ain't a good feeling
Feels like you're trapped in a case
these four walls enclosing
Life's slipping, slipping away
Worrying, thoughts all screwed up
with nowhere to go nothing to do
Just you in this room, stuck
trapped like quick sand
Sinking slowly trying to grab a hand
You're locked inside
while life's slipping, slipping away
And as you life goes, your smile froze
you begin to fold as tears begin to flow
and still life keeps slipping, slipping away
