Slippery Slope

SLIPPERY SLOPE

If the world’s intentions
Were turned into actuality
Wars, famines, infections
Would cease to be reality

Our broad highway is not internet
But icy blackness without brakes
For most there is no safety net
But there must be - for all our sakes

The poems I am reading today are as diverse as the poets here at PoetrySoup. This makes reading the poetry here so enjoyable. I am happy your poetry was among the poems I read today Sidney. Wishing you the best in your writing endeavors always. Love, Carol
