Slip Away
They slip away, everything in your hand
Like water, like the wind, they slip away
Your dreams, run as fast as quick sand
Courage, strength, they’re all blown away
And there you are, nothing to do or to say
You’re still searching for a reason in your life
Searching for a meaning in life every day
Not knowing your purpose to live, to be alive
And you wake up every morning ready to strive
Strive for what you believe in and think is right
Nearly dead, yet alive, somehow you’ll survive
All birds for better or worse needs to take flight
So open up your wings wide, look ahead and fly
Reach for the top, higher, until you touch the sky
