(I was looking for a haiku when caught my eye, out the window across the street from me was this squirrel stuffing a whole pizza slice into the branches at the top of a tree.)

Your really good at these haikus. I like longer poems that rhyme that's my talent. You've got talent all around though

Shoot Maureen, much later I just read your disclaimer. Here I was thinking it wasn't a real piece of pizza. I thought that it was a red squirrel lol. I apologize, I just read your poem and commented. I never read other people's comments before I write my own thoughts. So WOW a squirrel with a slice of pizza. That dude was in heaven.
