Sleepy, Tired, Hungry, Thirsty

Drown me deep in Seas of Sleep, And never would I want to wake To Lies of Life that make me weep (By slumbered Dreams of me as Sheep) I hunger for a "normal" life, Weary for a willing "Wife", And though I thirst, drink very worst- The Darkened Days just filled with Strife!

lol It's a terrible combination, and it's also an expression (or lament) I've heard my mother say a million times in jest. I think this poem has a "desperate" feel to it, so I wanted a title that reflected some kind of universal desperation. I appreciate you stopping by for a read, Richard :)
