Open The Door And Enter A World Of Possibilities- Poetry Contest- Sponsored by Sara Kendrick
Many nights I've laid in bed With a comfort pillow 'neath my head I twisted and turned, tried to fall asleep So that I can close my eyes and dream deep I tried to take some sleeping pills But found that they just gave me chills I tried sleepy tea and sipped it slow But found that tea just made me go... I tried playing music; a soft melody And I tried counting sheep- they didn't work for me Finally, I found what worked the best To help me fall asleep and rest I ate a piece of chocolate late at night It worked for me, so, for you- it might! Dark chocolate is the kind I use So, try a piece to light the fuse I hope it helps you to dream deep When you twist and turn and you just can't sleep
