Sleepless Nights(No Longer Alone)
all the single nights that i have spent here alone.
is there someone who can pick me up?
i'm calling out for guidance.
i now know that i need you.
i can't be selfish.
i'll feast on my pride.
i'll tear off my disguise.
i've been hiding my face for sometime.
i'm weak and i'm tired.
so many sleepless nights.
just staring at the wall.
so many tears that i have wasted.
every single night wasting here alone.
i'm calling out for my guidance.
i'm tired of waking up and trying to fill this hole.
will you open up my heart?
show me compassion and love.
fill me up from top to bottom.
i'm calling out for you.
i know that you'll stand beside me.
you bring me hope.
i'll offer you my hand and every time i fall
i know that you will carry me.
when i felt like i had nothing left and wanted to throw it all away.
you placed your hands on my shoulders and gave me hope.
looking into my eyes i realize that i'm not done.
this is all i have ever dreamed.
to live without pain.
without fear.
with your two hands you helped me stand.
we can do anything through unity.
unstoppable.
we're in control.
i can't even start to explain.
my insecurities now the only thing i have tossed away.
you have taught me to show my face.
you never fail.
you never fall.
thank you for remembering me.
i'll take hold of what you've given to me.
every minute i believe your eyes will fill my heart
with happiness inside.
you see through me and all my problems
and guide me towards a better life.
