Sleepless Nights

tossing & turning its now time to stay awake
another sleepless night
had enough of this severe chronic back ache

In my morning pain I may have said some things
those horrible spoken words 
that a sleepless night brings

I wish I’d never said them,  I’m seriously appalled 
for those horrible spoken words
no matter how much regretted can never be recalled
