Sleeping Out

SLEEPING OUT

The stars were bright
And it was spring
They watched the moon
Enwrapped in rings
Of showers,
  Stars imploding

A rusty spring was dragged
To lie
They watched star-splendor of night sky
 brother, sister
Melted there
To join the universal prayer

Note: My brother Jack—a university student when I was 4 years old—spent many precious hours with me. I shall never forget these times and these magic moments
