Sleeping, Dreaming,Waking

I took a sleeping pill last night
I tried not to do it I put up a fight
Sleep came much more peacefully you see
I finally slept and finally dreamed
Dreaming of unknown flittering things
I don’t remember or maybe I grew wings
Wings to fly away and be free
Free to release pain and let the wind take me
Take me high above this stressful world
Flying high above, maybe the wind swirled
Swirling around and around again
Cheerfully looking for my good friend
Never finding them here high above
Only feeling my heart yearn for love
So reality takes me back to fate
I need wake up, I’m going be late
