Sleeping Angel

I outline your aura with my fingertips,
I watch your chest heave as you breathe;
In awe, I lay beside you as you dream,
there is no place else I'd rather be.

You reach out and gently squeeze my hand,
Your lips softly whisper out my name;
I cradle you warmly in my arms,
as your passion feeds my flame.

The smell of your fragrance swells my nostrils,
I inhale it to my very core;
And though I must leave for now,
My heart will always crave for more.
