Sleep Well
Sleep well my love
for I hold you in my heart
and pray...tonight and always.
I pray before I lay my head down that you
know the thoughts that are not always
expressed.
I pray before I close my eyes that you
notice the delight I take in seeing you.
I pray before I relax my weary body that you
realize how I respond to yours.
I pray before I drift off to sleep that you
see the dreams I have of you.
I pray before I rest my heart that you
feel all the love I cannot always show you.
Sleep well my love

and pray.
