Sleep Journey

Rain falling down in sheets
I hear it hitting the window, I cannot sleep
Sirens blaring in the air , I close
my eyes and try not to care
I want to sleep and dream tonight
it takes me away no stress
no strife
Life is great without a doubt
Blessings so numerous I
cannot count
Dreams take you places you
never knew existed
Some are wonderful yet some
are twisted
Our minds are so powerful
we tend to dismiss
The subconscious takes hold
and you feel such bliss
The clock stops when deep
sleep arrives
No movement, no sound just
images being archived
Lucid dreaming is a journey
to explore
With every second you can
open new doors
