Sleep Away Thy Days of Strife

Sleep Away Thy Days Of Strife Sleep away thy days of strife Dream once more of a better life Hope springs eternal we’ve been told But the wolves at the door grow more bold Pray spring wilt end the winters glower And return once more the flowery bower That once with butterflies arrayed Now seem mostly gone on summer days And nightingales rarely sing in the evening hour So sleep away thy days of strife and Dream once more of a better life
